These are trying times.

These are trying times. I watch the watch on my wrist and the time seems to stand still. First I look at the hour hand, willing the hours to pass by. Then I concentrate on the minute hand, frustrated by its slow painstaking pace. Then I get dizzy watching the second hands whirl by and sad that it just passes the other larger clock hands by. I glance at the Taipei Standard time on my PC and on the Betty Boop clock on the blank white wall and even ask my dour officemate for the time, hoping there's a glitch on my watch." Asa ka pa!!!", dour seatmate tells me.
These are trying times as I wait for office closing chimes. 6:00 where are you?.6:00 when I can click on the start button and shutdown my Lord Computer, my GOD, my office slave master.
Yes, these are trying times, as I wait for the onset of the long four day-weekend. Its 4:56 and i have an hour and 4 minutes before i go.
