Elephant on the loose in 'urban jungle'

(Can you believe it? a loose elephant strolling along Kamuning and Tomas Morato?)
A TRAINED elephant escaped from its cage in Cubao, Quezon City on Thursday, radio and television reports said.
The Thai elephant, one of 10 scheduled to perform at the Araneta Coliseum, wandered along Tomas Morato and Kamuning Avenues. The area was immediately closed to traffic.
Footage from GMA 7's "Flashreport" showed trainers and onlookers dousing water on the elephant, who appeared agitated by the scorching heat. Bananas were also thrown at the animal for food.
Organizers of the elephant show are deciding on how they could return the stray animal back to the Araneta.
