I am scared.
I am scared of a powerful man.
I am scared of a powerful Filipino government official.
I am sacred of Senator Panfilo Lacson.

Why? Because he wants to become our president and there are too many scary stories about his exploits. He is the same man i heard saying on TV news, "Maghanap sila at lahat nang makita nila ay sa kanila na (They should search and they can have everything they find),".

Sometime ago the Major news headlines screamed, "U.S. COURT CONFIRMS PING'S DOLLAR ACCOUNT". That should have done it. His political career should have been over. Things is, our people do not seem to vote wisely... I am still scared that he may be able to hoodwink our people.

This morning i received a forwarded email about him, just one of the scary emails i keep getting about him. Below is the full text of the email...

Another pivotal time is about to pass. History will once more be made in the coming year. As is only in the Philippines, election time has come again!

The usual "pabilin" by all camps will be to "VOTE WISELY" by issuing the "CONSCIENCE VOTE" as proclaimed by all the religious denominations simultaneously denying their endorsement of a particular candidate or party. * After winning the election in 2001 Lacson moved back the amount of $246,199.25 from his wife's California Bank account to Union Bank of the Philippines. This is reflected in the U.S. Bank on June 5, 2001

* At the height of the impeachment trial of Pres. Estrada, Mrs. Lacson remitted the amount of $450,000 to her Bank of America account in California.

* Lacson opened several Bank accounts in his own name at the Bank of America branch in Chula Vista which in October 2000 had a balance of $285,133.00

* Wells Fargo Bank Account No. 201-8575365 in Los Angeles, California

* Lacson & his wife had 6 bank accounts in the US with a total deposit of more than $1.1 million based
on the documents obtained from the ombudsman & the US District Court in San Francisco, USA.

* In the Philippines: Lacson's wife remitted $100,000.00 to their account in the Bank of America California thru
PCI-Bank BF - Aguire Branch on Nov. 13, 2000.

* Two days later, Lacson's friend by the name of Teresita Go sent $50,000 to the same account thru
Hong Kong & Shanghai Bank in Makati City.

* Twelve days later, on Nov. 27, 2000 $150,000 dollars was remitted to same account thru same bank.

* A day after Christmas, Lacson's wife sent her own account in California, the sum of $ 145,000.00
dollars from her account in the PCI Bank BF - Aguirre Branch.

* After EDSA 2 Lacson withdraw all the monies they remitted to US & moved the stash to a safer hiding
place.

* All their Houses & Bank transactions are fully documented

* Bank records subpoenaed by Commissioner Miles Erlich, Asst. US Attorney of the Northern District of California detailed Lacson's salting of more than a million dollars from the Philippines to his wife's US accounts in the twilight days of the Estrada administration.

* All these information are reflected in the US based Financial Crimes Enforcement Network on Lacson's wife, Alice, who is the subject of FINCEN Case No. 72192

RECENT NOTABLE PENDING CASES OF LACSON

1. Now pending in the Supreme Court is his motion for reconsideration of the murders/massacre of Kuratong Baleleng Gang members where it was earlier ordered filed by Supreme Court.

2. Non declaration of several of his properties & income here and abroad in his statements & assets & liabilities where
a graft case is now pending before the Ombudsman. Recommended for invenstigation & prosecution to the DOJ by the Blue Ribbon Committee, Pubic Order Committee & National Defense Committee of the Senate for his involvement in drug trafficking, kidnapping, murders & other heinous crimes during his stint as PNP Chief.

3. Pending case before the Ethics Committee of the Senate for fabrication of evidence & bank statements against several persons including husband of Pres. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.

4. On January 10, Judge Julie Conger of the US Superior Court of the Oakland ordered Lacson to pay Mrs. Blanquita Pelaez, the complainant, to pay her the amount of $3,031.262 plus interest as damages arising from a 1996 handcuffs supply contract where Lacson was still PNP Chief.

5. At present Lacson is being monitored by US authorities for alleged money laundering activities.

We Filipinos have always had a difficult time following as a people but individually during elections, some of us will follow our conscience, some of us will follow the proddings of our church, some will follow their instinct, some will follow
their wallet. These are the reasons why I won't ask any of you to follow but instead I AM ASKING YOU TO
LEAD.

I am asking each one of you to LEAD your family, your loved ones, your friends even your enemies to find out the truth behind the man, his criminal activities & his wealth! Find out for yourselves the kind of person, know the kind of who PANFILO LACSON IS AND WHY HE SHOULD NOT BE PRESIDENT OR IN ANY PUBLIC OFFICE!
